International Sommelier Guild Master Program (ISGM)

In today’s economic turbulence and rapidly evolving multinational landscape, the hospitality industry demands multi-talented professionals. The ISGM course is a 90‑week program (192 days, 1,817 hours) that provides a more rounded degree than most universities by combining full enology, wine business management, nutrition, and sommellerie studies.

Online learning has no time limitations, allowing students to progress at their own pace with guidance from five dedicated educators. This program provides graduates with top-tier professional tools and vocational competencies to become industry leaders.

As the only institution with its own uniquely developed curriculum and extensive course books (in over ten languages), the ISG prepares you to become a highly sought-after professional with expertise in enology, wine business management, sommellerie, and culinary & nutrition.

We teach wine and spirits for the hospitality industry while addressing 21st‑century industry trends, marketing, new-media, and comprehensive regulations to ensure our graduates are fully prepared for success.

Course Structure and Requirements

The program is an intensive 202‑session course spanning 1,817 clock hours. Each session is structured into a Lecture, Tasting, Review, and Examination (delivered online or in‐class). Successful completion requires a minimum of 70% in all examinations; for ISGM Degree eligibility, a minimum of 75% is required.

Examination: Comprised of a four‑part theory exam and one practical exam.

Only ISGM graduates are eligible to pursue the ISGM Degree. For the degree, you must submit a 10,000‑word dissertation for peer review, guided by an educational mentor. Dissertations are graded as Pass with Distinction, Pass, or Failure, with resubmissions allowed within six months at no extra cost.
