SOMMELIER COURSE AND CERTIFICATION
Internationally Standardized Wine Professional Training and Certification Program
The International Sommelier Guild (ISG) has introduced in Vietnam a comprehensive training program for the sommelier profession, combining wine consulting and service with related specialized fields, including:
1. Wine consulting and service
2. Wine production science
3. Wine management and business
4. Gastronomy and the art of food and wine pairing
5. Applied nutrition in the culinary industry
6. Analytical and professional service skills in fine dining and luxury hospitality
This program is designed on the foundation of applied sciences with an interdisciplinary approach, providing learners with a solid and comprehensive knowledge system across these six core areas.
Beyond technical training, the program also emphasizes the development of critical thinking, the ability to integrate multidisciplinary knowledge, and adaptability to the increasingly demanding requirements of the international culinary and hospitality industries.
Upon completing the training levels, learners will acquire advanced knowledge and specialized skills aligned with global standards, fully prepared to join the high-quality workforce in food and beverage services, hospitality, and the wine industry both in Vietnam and internationally.
